The challenge

The Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) is Australia’s national dispute resolution body for financial services.

Its annual review reports on complaint trends, dispute outcomes and systemic issues across banking, insurance, investments and superannuation. The challenge was to present complex regulatory and financial information clearly, while maintaining accuracy and authority.

Editorial

This is the third consecutive year we have delivered AFCA’s annual review.

We lead the editorial development of highly technical regulatory and financial content, making it clear and accessible for a broad audience including regulators, industry and the public.

Our work includes:

• drafting and editing report content
• translating complex regulatory material into plain English
• developing case studies to illustrate dispute outcomes
• coordinating content from multiple internal teams.
